On August 6th two very young kittens (est. to be 1 week old, DOB 8-1-18) were brought to Southwood Animal Hospital. They had been found by a Good Samaritan very close to the hospital (Monday Rd. and Capital Circle). These kittens (a male black and white DSH named Cheese Cake and a female calico named Tiramisu) are being hand raised by a Northwood technician. Tiramisu is poly-dactyl (she has six toes on his front feet).
Both were adopted. Tiramisu/Miso was adopted in November 2018. Unfortunately, she was returned April 8, 2020 through no fault of her own. Her owner loves her dearly, but his elderly sister is coming to live with him and she is very allergic to cats. Miso is very affectionate and but needs a calm household and needs to feel comfortable.
