Meet Squash! This adorable baby girl is about one year old and sadly was left tied to the bench outside Northwood Animal Hospital August 24. It was pretty obvious that she needed some immediate medical attention. She was so swollen in the hind end she couldn’t even go to the bathroom. She needed an emergency hysterectomy but that hasn’t stopped this sweet girl from wagging her tail to say hello to anyone and everyone. Squash is still recovering so she’s not ready for adoption quite yet but should be soon. Squash is a perfect example of why we do this, helping a sweet dog get a second chance.
