Aphrodite and her baby:
On May 11th a box was found abandoned outside of Northwood Animal Hospital. Inside was a DMH Gray tabby momma cat and her 3 kittens. Two of the 3 kittens were very ill (flea ridden, dehydrated, septic) and ultimately died. One kitten (Persephone) survived. We named the momma cat Aphrodite. Aphrodite was such a good momma that she actually fostered an orphaned kitten, Ares. Aphrodite was negative for FeLV/FIV. She was dewormed, vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. She is now ready for a life of leisure.
