On November 26, 2022 two dogs were relinquished to Northwood Animal Hospital, Sirius and Narcissa. They had been dumped at one of our doctor’s farms. Sirius is a short legged, long backed Black mixed breed, maybe has some Dachshund or Basset Hound in him. He is positive for hookworms and heartworms, both of which are being treated. He can be placed in a home now, as long as they are able to bring her back to Northwood to complete her heartworm treatment, cost of which is covered by the rescue. He can be suspicious with men, so he will need a home that is patient with him.
