On March 21, 2023 a happy 4 month old brown and white tabby bob tailed kitten (DOB 11-21-22) with severe angular limb deformity of left front leg was brought to Northwood Animal Hospital by another rescue (Feline Advocates of Leon County).  She had been under the care of a Good Samaritan, but the injury to her left front leg was so severe that it was apparent she needed surgery.  X Rays showed the left elbow to be deformed-likely due to a fracture that healed poorly.  The result was the entire leg could not flex and was not usable.  The decision was made to amputate the leg.  Her name is Bunny. Bunny had surgery to amputate the leg and was spayed/had microchip placed at the same time.  She  runs and plays now that the malformed leg is no longer in her way. She is negative for FeLV/FIV and has been vaccinated. She is ready to come run and play at your house.
