A young kitten was brought in for an exam Nov. 12th. The owners had found the kitten 5 days prior as a stray. He was a 5 week old brown and white male DSH (est DOB 10-8-19). He had taken a fall and had a laceration of his chin. Wound care was recommended. The next day they brought the kitten back as now he was not using his left rear leg. X-rays showed a fracture of the left femur. The owners elected to relinquish him. We named the kitten Chestnut. Chestnut healed well with pain control and rest. He did not need to have
anything done surgically for the left rear leg. Chestnut has been neutered, micro-chipped and is progressing through his kitten vaccines. He is ready to be adopted.
