On April 25th a 3 day old puppy was relinquished by its owner. She had been born to his dog, and momma dog reportedly bit the puppy’s leg, causing a serious injury that looked like might require eventual amputation of the leg. The puppy was hand raised at Northwood Animal Hospital. She appears to be a Pitbull Mix. Thankfully, the leg did not need to be amputated. Latte has started her vaccines but has not yet been spayed. She is ready for adoption and spay will be performed before she goes home.
