In the end of April a stray dog was found hanging around the farm of one of Northwood’s employees in Gadsden Co. He was estimated to be about 9 months old, male tan and black Basset hound mix. We named him Orson. He has been treated for intestinal parasites, has been neutered and microchipped. Now he just needs a home. He has had only positive experiences with dogs, chickens, guinea pigs and people so far.
1-18-25. Unfortunately, Orson’s adoptive parents could not keep him-they worked too much and did not have time for him. So he has been relinquished back to CARE. He is still a sweet boy. We did have to treat him for hookworms and roundworms upon his return. He is ready to try again in a new home.
