On July 19th a puppy was admitted for assessment for a cruelty case. The police in Chattahoochee had seized the puppy due to it’s condition (photos above). She was estimated to be about 10-12 weeks old, female Pitbull mix. It was difficult to determine her color, as she had severe generalized dermatitis. Now that her hair has grown back we know she is white with blue merle spots. She was given an estimated DOB of 4-19-19. Her name is Sophia. Sophia underwent treatment for severe ringworm, ear infections and mild anemia. As her condition improved, she became quite the loving puppy. She has been spayed and is now available for adoption.
