On November 7th, 2023 a stray puppy was found in the Home Depot parking lot on Capital Circle SE. He was sickly-pale, trembling and Good Samaritan thought he might have had a seizure. He was anemic and intermittently showed neurologic signs/possible seizures when he arrived. He had a hookworm infestation. The puppy was started on dewormers and condition was monitored. We named him Turkey. He looks to be about 10 week old (estimated DOB 9-30-23) blue merle Cattle Dog mix. Liver testing was done on him and was normal. Turkey is proceeding through his puppy vaccines, has been neutered and is in great shape now. He is ready for his forever home. He’s about 8 lbs now and likely mature to about 20 lbs if we had to take a guess.
